My passion as a data storyteller sparked during my early years as a high school math teacher in Houston, Texas. I often used stories and real-world examples as a way to engage students with difficult algebra concepts.
Twelve years later and I've gained international and cross-industry experience helping teams, schools, and organizations better understand their data, seeing and hearing their visions and stories of change come alive through engaging visualizations and narration.
Using equitable and anti-racist evaluation methods & practices, I turn complex data & information into practical, simple, and actionable insights. As a data storyteller, I find joy in transforming those simple insights into beautiful visuals and stories to share and inspire others.
